It all begins in Manali – engines roaring and a crew buzzing with excitement. The mountains call and we answer. By the time we hit Jispa, the Beas River is racing alongside us and the mighty Baralacha La and Tanglang La looms ahead. Every climb is a challenge, but the views? Absolute magic.
Leh greets us with bustling bazaars, fluttering prayer flags and a sense of calm that feels otherworldly. From there, onward to Hunder, we trade asphalt for dunes, where double-humped camels make you question if you’ve wandered into another world. Then it’s on to Pangong Tso, a masterpiece of nature that changes hues with the shifting sun – you won’t believe your eyes (or your pictures).
Thiksey’s monasteries offer moments of reflection and Nurla’s hidden trails remind us why we take the road less traveled. Padum is the final frontier and by then, we’ve pushed boundaries, built friendships and discovered something deeper within ourselves (hopefully!).
Ladakh isn’t just a trip – it’s a transformation.
